Description

This early 19th-century property comprises three buildings at 20, 22, and 22A Port Street. The structure is built of engraved cement and painted brick, with quoins visible on the left-hand side. It is two storeys tall with an attic, and features five sash windows, most of which retain glazing bars. Modillion cornices run along the eaves, and there is one gabled dormer window. The roof is tiled. A square-headed carriage entrance is located on the right-hand side. Modern shop fronts have been fitted. The buildings are included on the list for their group value, considered alongside numbers 18 to 22 (even) and 22A.
