Description

This is an 18th or early 19th century building on Fore Street, comprising three properties: 12, 12A, and 14. The building is two storeys high and has a rendered facade with applied lining. It features a wooden eaves box cornice and a painted horizontal band beneath the second-floor windows. The sash windows now have only central glazing bars, and are surrounded by painted architraves. A modern shop fronts the left side of the building, with a central four-panel door set within a stucco casing that is adorned with scroll consoles. A mid-to-late 19th century shop occupies the right side. The building forms a group with numbers 4 to 32 (even) and the Roman Catholic Church.
