Description
Number 4, Fore Street is a building likely dating from the early 19th century. It is three storeys high and features a rendered exterior with a rounded corner. The first floor has a three-light window that has been altered to include splayed windows and only central glazing bars. The flush frame windows include one on the second floor facing Fore Street with glazing bars, and another on the return to the south. The shop front, also from the early 19th century, has a splayed entrance at the corner, flanked by sidelights and a slender entablature that follows the curve and extends on either side above the shop, which now has plate glass. There is an additional window to the left that serves as a display window. This building is part of a group that includes numbers 4 to 32 (even) and the Roman Catholic Church.
