Description

Number 7 Buttermarket is a shop built in the early 19th century. It has a timber-framed structure that is rendered, topped with a slate roof and features a modillion eaves soffit. The building stands three storeys high and includes a cellar. The facade has three window openings, featuring sashes in flush cased frames. Two of the windows have 20th-century square leaded panes, while the others have a single vertical bar in the lights. Above the first storey windows, there is a moulded stucco band. The ground storey contains a shop with a recessed central entry. There are no surviving original features inside the building.
