Description
Number 16 on Fore Street is an 18th-century building constructed from narrow coursed stone. It features a prominent wooden eaves cornice supported by massive ogee brackets and is topped with old slate roofing. The building has flush frame sash windows that have cambered heads and recticulate keystones, although they now only have central glazing bars. To the left, there is a 20th-century wooden shop front, and to the right, a wide display window with a cambered head. This property is part of a group that includes Nos 4 to 32 (even) and the Roman Catholic Church.
