Description

Nos 18 and 18A on Fore Street are 18th century buildings that have been altered. They are two stories tall and constructed from narrow coursed stone. The first floor features two canted splay bay windows. There is a wooden eaves cornice and a hipped slate roof on the left side. To the left is a modern shop associated with No. 18, while No. 18A has a separate entrance on the right, which includes a six-panel door with sunk upper panels and a wooden case. These buildings are part of a group that includes Nos 4 to 32 (even) and the Roman Catholic Church.
