Description

Nos 18 and 18A on Swadford Street are 18th-century buildings constructed of stone rubble and rising to three storeys. The structure features a central ashlar element that projects slightly forward. Originally, this was a large house set back from the road, but the ground floor has been extended forward and now includes two modern shop fronts. Each upper storey has five evenly spaced windows with moulded architraves. The building is accented by rusticated quoins and has modillioned eaves.
