Description

The Royal Shepherd Public House is a late Georgian building that has been cement-rendered over stone and stands two storeys tall. The gable end facing the canal features a central panelled door with a fanlight set in a plain stone frame. On the ground floor, there are two sash windows, while the upper floor has three sash windows and a double sash window in the gable. The left-hand side of the building has altered openings on the ground floor, with three sash windows above, of which two are original 25-paned sashes.
