Description

New Bridge was built shortly after 1773, following the construction of the Spring Canal and the completion of the Leeds and Liverpool Canal to Skipton. It features a single arch made of rusticated stone, with voussoirs and an arched parapet. There are stone steps leading down to the towpath on the south-west side.
