Description

This is a likely early 19th-century building on Fore Street. It is a two-storey structure with a first floor clad in decorative hung tiles. The lower part of the building is painted stucco, and features a shop front to the right and a sash window with a six-panel door on the left. The first-floor windows are flush-frame sashes, with remaining glazing bars in the window on the left. The roof is slate and hipped to the right. There is a single sash window with glazing bars at the first floor on the splay to the left. The building forms a group with the Anchor Hotel (numbers 7 to 51, odd) and the nearby Evangelical Church.
