Description
Number 11 St Mary's Place is a shop that was formerly a dwelling, built around 1800. The building is constructed of brick, with a roof that is not visible behind a parapet. It stands three storeys high and features a three-window range. The central entrance has a six-panelled door framed by a moulded architrave, with panelled rebates and console brackets supporting an entablature. To the left of the door is a tripartite sash window, while to the right and above are 12-pane sash windows, all with flat-arched gauged brick heads. There is a blind central window space. The building has a parapet eaves cornice and an axial stack. The return elevation facing St Mary's Street includes an early 20th-century shop front and two 12-pane sash windows above, also with flat-arched gauged brick heads.
