Description

This is a house, dating to around 1700, which is now used as offices. It is constructed of brick with a graded slate roof. The property is two storeys high and has a five-window facade, although the left-hand bay is obscured and partly cut by the adjacent buildings at numbers 4 to 8 St Mary’s Place. A central door consists of six panels with an overlight, topped by a high pediment positioned above the string course. The windows are flush-framed 12-pane sashes, each with a flat-arched brick head. The building has an enriched eaves cornice, coped gables, and a gable end stack.
