Description

Number 8 Market Street is a three-storey building that dates back to the 19th century. The principal elevation faces south and features a shop front that opens onto Market Street. The facade includes flanking pilasters and a moulded string course on the second floor. There are two sash windows with glazing bars on the second floor, while the first floor has a single three-light sash window, which now only has centre glazing bars. The shop front slightly projects and includes an entrance on the left side. This building is part of a group with Numbers 6-18 (even) Market Street.
