Description

Number 10 Eastgate Square is an 18th-century building that stands two storeys tall and features three window bays. It is constructed of red brick and has a tiled hipped roof. The building has a small cornice with modillions beneath the eaves, and the sash windows are set in reveals with flat arches, although the glazing bars are missing. The second floor has smaller windows. The shop fronts are made of plate glass and have a similar design, complete with moulded frames and moulded voussoirs. The doorway is adorned with Doric pilasters, a moulded frieze, and a pediment, leading to a six-panel moulded door. Numbers 10 to 12 Eastgate Square form a group.
