No 4 (The Eastgate Public House) and No 6 on The Hornet are early 18th century buildings that stand two storeys tall with an attic. The ground floor features a shop front, and the buildings are finished in stucco. There is a high parapet in front of the dormer windows, with one dormer for No 4 and two for No 6. The ground floor of No 4 has a modern public house front, while No 6 has a modern plate glass shop front.
