Description

Number 46 on Broad Street is a building from the 18th century or earlier. It has three storeys, with a stuccoed front and a brick rear elevation. The roof is covered with old tiles, and there is a moulded wooden cornice. The front features one sash window with intact glazing bars and an Italianate cornice on scroll brackets at the first floor. The early 19th-century shopfront includes four plain pilasters and panelled risers. The side elevation shows a section of red brick that rises two to three storeys and has two cambered sash windows.
