Description
Broad Street House is an 18th-century range, comprising numbers 42A, 43, and 44 on Broad Street. The building is two storeys and has attics, constructed of painted brick. It has steeply pitched roofs with two dormers, and a bracket eaves cornice and stringcourse. There are eight windows in total; those on the ground floor have cambered head linings. Glazing bars are missing from No. 43. The doorcases feature fluted frames and cornices. The rear elevation incorporates a hipped roof and gables. Some 18th-century panelling is present within No. 44. Numbers 33 to 44 (consecutive) and No. 46 form a group.
