Description

Nos 39 and 40 on Broad Street are early 19th-century buildings that stand two storeys high with a basement and attics. The exterior is finished in stucco and features a slate mansard roof with a rainwater head. The front has two sash windows with intact glazing bars, and there is a casement window on the first floor of No 39. Both buildings have simple doorcases with four-panelled doors and are accessed by two stone steps. These properties, along with Nos 33 to 44 and No 46, are part of a group.
