Description

This is a 15th-century timber-framed building that has been refaced with painted brick and rough cast. It features a hipped tiled roof and has three sash windows with verticals only on the Broad Street elevation, and two on the Military Road elevation. The early 19th-century shopfront includes a cornice and four pilasters, with a door set in the corner. The doorcase for No 47A has a simple moulded architrave and a six-panelled door. Nos 47 to 52, along with No 1 Albion Place, form a group.
