Description

The building at 28, 28b, and 28c Market Place is a two-storey structure with a parapet and moulded cornice, topped by a slate roof with a hipped left side. It features pilasters on the first floor and four sash windows with glazing bars. The ground floor now contains three 20th-century shop fronts, with the shop front on the west elevation extending around the side of the building. The north elevation includes a panelled door within a timber doorcase, topped with an arched fanlight, and incorporating steps for access. Above the door is an arched sash window. The listed buildings along the north side of Market Place are considered to form a group.
