Description

Number 32 Market Place comprises two distinct parts that front onto the Market Place. The taller, left-hand portion features an enriched open pediment and flank rustications. It contains two sash windows with flush frames and glazing bars, with a lugged stucco surround to the second-floor window. At first floor, three sashes are combined into a larger window composition beneath a moulded cornice. The lower, right-hand portion exhibits two flush frame sash windows with glazing bars and lugged stucco surrounds on the first floor. The upper windows have truncated sashes with moulded cornices on both the first and second floors. The ground floor has been subdivided into two shops, with early 21st-century shop fronts. The listed buildings on the north side of the Market Place form a group.
