Description
No. 20 Market Place is a three-storey building dating from the 18th century. The principal elevation faces north and features a pitched roof with a chimney on the left side, adorned with a dentil cornice. Below the pantile roof, there is an eaves cornice. The façade is covered in painted stucco, showcasing a rusticated first floor and flank pilasters that extend to the second floor, which also has a plat band.
The building has two sash windows on both the first and second floors, each with central glazing bars. These windows are set beneath stuccoed flat arches with keys at the first-floor level. On the ground floor, the wooden shop front includes a central glazed recessed door and a tiled stall riser.
