II The structure is built of red brick with stone caps to its piers. It is formed of curving outer walls with a central entrance. It ranges from eight to ten feet in height. The entrance is a wide wooden pedestrian door with a heavy frame. Above the door is a stone tablet engraved with "Sir William Paston's Free School founded 1606".
