Description
Nos 13 and 14 Market Place are a pair of 18th-century buildings with a red brick façade, standing three storeys tall. The exterior features windows with gauged flat arches and glazing bars. Number 13 has two sash windows on the second floor and one on the first floor, while number 14 has a wide window with a single glass sheet on the first floor. The ground floor of number 13 showcases an early 19th-century timber shop front, complete with mullions, a leaf gilt lettered fanlight, a moulded cornice, a tiled stallriser, and panelled sides. In contrast, number 14 has a modern shop front. Together, Nos 13 to 22 Market Place form a cohesive group.
