Description
No. 25 High Street is an early 19th-century terrace building located on the west side of High Street. It is two storeys tall and constructed of stucco, featuring eaves and a gutter. The building has a continuous ridge roof and a two-window facade. On the ground floor, there is a shop front with a door to the left. The shop window is framed by pilasters that support an entablature, which is adorned with an ornamental carved frieze and a moulded projecting cornice. The first floor has two sash windows, each with moulded stucco surrounds. In front of the windows, there are projecting ornamental cast iron window box supports. The roof is covered with ridge tiles and includes one small flat-roofed leaded dormer. No. 25 is part of a group with Nos. 19 to 37 (odd).
