Description

This is a late 18th century house situated to the rear of projecting Victorian shop fronts along High Street. The house is constructed of painted brick and features a parapet with a decorative band. It extends two storeys and has three sash windows on the first floor. The roof is covered with ridge tiles and includes three flat-roofed dormers with leaded glazing. End ridge stacks are present. The ground floor has a centrally positioned glazed and panelled door set within a doorcase featuring fluted pilasters. Projecting one-storey shop fronts are located on either side of the doorway.
