Description

No. 8 Castle Street is an early 19th-century building with a stuccoed exterior and a tiled hipped roof. It features small paired brackets along the eaves soffit and stands three storeys tall, with a single window width. The first and second floors each have a bowed window consisting of three-light sashes with glazing bars. The ground floor has a modern shop front with a small projecting fascia. No. 8, along with No. 9, forms a group, although No. 9 is of local interest only.
