Description
Mornington Mansions is a mid-19th century large stuccoed building located at the end of the terrace on the south-east side of Wellington Square. The building features a rusticated ground floor and first floor, with a parapet, cornice, and stringcourses. It stands five storeys tall and has a window arrangement of three on the left and two on the right, with the left-hand three windows projecting slightly. All windows are sashes without glazing bars, with the second and third floors framed in moulded architraves. The second floor has cornices supported by consoles, and the left-hand three windows on the first and second floors have cast iron balconies. There is an enclosed porch off centre, adorned with rusticated pilasters and a heavy entablature. The building is included for its group value with other listed buildings in Wellington Square.
