Description
25 Market Place is a three-storey building made of brick, topped with a black glazed pantile roof and featuring an eaves cornice. The main west elevation has flank pilasters and five sash windows on the first and second floors. The two central windows are distinguished by rusticated jambs and keyed flat arches. To the left, there is a vehicle arch, with sash windows above it on each floor. A cornice band runs along the second floor level. The ground floor has a shop front that includes a deep continuous entablature and a recessed central entrance with a tiled porch. The shopfront features altered 19th-century windows. This building is part of a group with numbers 23 to 27 Market Place.
