Description

24 Broad Street is a three-storey brick building with a slate roof, featuring a two-window range. The ground floor has an early 20th-century shop front that interrupts the first-floor windows, showcasing a high dentilled fascia. It includes a central doorway flanked by plate glass windows with leaded upper lights. The upper storeys are defined by outer and central pilasters, along with a plain frieze band beneath the moulded eaves cornice. The sash windows, which have glazing bars, consist of nine panes on the first floor—likely reduced from twelve panes—and six panes on the upper storey, all topped with flat arched brick heads.
