Description

35 Chester Street is a three-storey brick building with a slate roof, featuring a two-window range and a central entrance. The entrance has a four-panelled door with a leaded overlight, set within an architrave that includes scrolled brackets supporting an entablature. On each floor, the entrance is flanked by 12-pane sash windows, while the attic storey windows have 9 panes. All windows have flat arched painted stone heads and painted stone sills. The eaves parapet is topped with plain stone copings, and there are gable end stacks. At the rear, there is a wing that may have originally been larger.
