Number 3 Market Street is a three-storey building with walls covered in render. It features a single casement window on both the first and second floors. A cast iron balcony balustrade on the first floor dates from around 1825. The roof is pantiled and has a wide eaves soffit. At the ground floor, there is an early to mid 19th century canted-bay shop front. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 1 to 9 Market Place (odd) and the Former Girl's School.
