Description

These are two 17th-century timber-framed buildings, numbers 19 and 21 Normandy Street. They stand two storeys high with an attic, and each has three bays. Both buildings have tiled roofs. The ground floors now contain modern shop fronts, with a central doorway between them on each building. The first floors each have two wide casement windows. A single dormer window is visible in the roof of each building. Number 19 has a rendered exterior, while number 21 has a more modern exterior treatment using a black and white design with pebbledash infill. Numbers 11 to 21, the odd numbers, form a group, and numbers 11 and 19 are considered to be of local architectural interest.
