Description

The United Reformed Church, built in 1835, is a two-storey structure featuring a gabled elevation. It is three bays wide, with two narrow canted bays on the sides. The church is finished in stucco and has a slate roof, designed in a minimal Gothic style. The central entrance is located in a gabled porch. The ground floor windows are square, while the first-floor windows are pointed and feature either Y- or intersecting Y-tracery, all equipped with drip moulds. A spherical triangle louvre is present in the gable, along with a moulded string course and a parapet. The sides of the building consist of five bays, marked by flat, pilaster-like buttresses that have a single set-off.
