Description

No 4 Dolphin Street is an 18th-century building that stands two storeys tall with an attic and basement, constructed from red brick. It features a later mansarded tiled roof. On the ground floor, there are three sash windows with intact glazing bars. The entrance has a doorcase set in a moulded frame, topped with an entablature. Access to the door is via four steps, and the door itself is a recessed six-panel moulded design, with the top two panels cut away and glazed. The windows on the ground floor and basement have segmental heads, and the building has a projecting plinth. Nos 1 to 11 Dolphin Street form a group with No 164 Middle Street.
