Description

The Briars is an early 19th century house located on Old London Road. The original stucco has been replaced with pebble-dash, and the building features a parapet and a slate roof. It has three storeys and three windows, with an additional window in a spayed corner. The windows are sashes with glazing bars, and the ground and first floor have a three-light sash, with the first floor being larger. There is a doorway on the left that has a modern glazed porch. The rear wall is tile-hung, and there is a simple contemporary staircase inside.
