Description
The Old Rectory is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of stucco with slate, featuring hipped roofs. The building has two storeys and five windows, all of which are sash windows except for a 20th-century window with 12 fixed panes on the left. There is a central square porch that has a plain frieze, a parapet, and a flat roof. The ground floor includes quoins, and there is a string course along the façade. The eaves are overhanging and bracketed, and there is a part-glazed tent canopy on the side and rear, where the building has only three bays. The centre of the structure breaks forward under the bracketed eaves, which are topped with a low pediment beneath a hip. The windows include both standard sashes and tri-partite sashes.
