Description
Home Close and Wistaria is a pair of houses, which may have originally been one building, dating from the 17th century and reglazed in the 19th century. The structure is built of rubble, with some areas roughcast, and features plain tile and double roman tile roofs, along with stone finials. The main block, known as Home Close, is 2½ storeys tall and has three windows, all of which are 2-light casements set beneath dripmoulds. At the ground level, there is a central gabled porch with a finial, and the two full-height gables have single attic lights. The left side, Wistaria, is 1½ storeys high and has one window in the gable, with 2-light casements and a 20th-century door on the right. There is a later extension to the left, which is concealed by a lean-to.
