Description
Old Holloway House is a late 18th century house located at 65 Old London Road. It is built of red brick on a cement rendered base, with tile hung sides and a hipped slate roof. The house has three storeys, an attic, and a semi-basement, featuring four windows across its front. The window openings have cambered heads, and the sashes retain their glazing bars. There is a notable doorway on the left, which includes pilasters, an open pediment, and a semi-circular fanlight with glazing bars, leading to an end fielded-panel door. The eaves cornice is supported by small paired brackets. A large modern attic dormer with a flat roof and three windows has replaced the former two dormers.
