Description
Villa Julia is an early to mid-19th century house located in High Wickham. It is constructed of red brick and features a tall, narrow stuccoed front facing the street. The house has a slate hipped roof and stands three storeys high, with one window that has sashes and glazing bars, along with cills. It is an end-of-terrace house and has a plaque indicating that Matilda Betham Edwards lived there from 1884 to 1914. Villa Julia is part of a group that includes Nos 3 to 18, with Nos 4, 5, 15, 16, 17, and 18 being of local interest only.
