Description
Kingsdown House is an 18th-century and mid-19th century house. It is constructed of red brick with a plain tiled roof. The house has two storeys, a basement, and an attic, featuring a parapet, four hipped dormers, and chimney stacks at the left end and projecting right end. The windows are regularly arranged, with glazing bar sashes on the first floor and six on the ground floor, all with segmental heads. A wide, centrally positioned, flat-roofed porch from the 19th century contains a panelled door. The two right-end window bays are later additions, and a one-storey flat-roofed extension is located on the left. The group value of this building stems from its contribution to the character of the area.
