Description

Ludgate is a house dating from the 16th century. It is timber framed with exposed plaster infill and features a plain tiled roof. The building has two storeys, characterized by small panel framing and a continuous jetty. The steeply hipped roof includes two gabled dormers and a central stack. On the first floor, there are two five-light mullioned windows and a central six-light mullioned window. The ground floor has a continuous range of 20th-century mullioned lights. A boarded door is located at the right end of the building. There are extensive ranges at the rear.
