Description
Numbers 5 and 7, Ravenswood, are a pair of houses dating to around 1800. They are now rendered with a cement finish. The houses have tiled hipped roofs with two flat-roofed dormers and paired eaves brackets. They extend over four storeys, with an attic and basement. Each house has two windows in width. Prominent features are the two segmental bowed windows that rise the full height of the building beginning on the first floor; these contain three-light sash windows with glazing bars. The ground floor is stuccoed and features sashes with glazing bars. Small porches with open pediments, round-headed arches supported by Tuscan columns, and semi-circular fanlights are present. Numbers 5 and 7, Ravenswood, are part of a group with numbers 1 to 11 (odd) and 15 to 23 (odd).
