Description

No. 42 Croft Road is a cottage dating from around 1800. It has a stucco front and weatherboarded sides, with a parapet and a hipped roof covered in new tiles. The building is two storeys high and two windows wide. On the first floor, there is a sash window with glazing bars and a segmental bowed window featuring three sashes with glazing bars. The ground floor includes a fielded-panel door with a rectangular traceried fanlight above it, a sash window with glazing bars, and a plain passage door leading to the rear. There are area railings to the left of the front.
