Description

No. 8 Bridge Street is a cottage dating from approximately 1800. It is constructed of brick, with a roughcast rendered finish. The roof is pantiled and in a mansard style. The building is one storey high with attics, featuring two dormers with hung sash windows containing central glazing bars. The ground floor has two similar sash windows with cambered, rendered arches. A central doorcase is formed of a moulded architrave, featuring boss enrichments to the frieze, a dentilled cornice, and a triangular pediment. The door itself is made of six raised and fielded panels.
