Description

Garden Cottage is a late 18th century detached cottage situated down a footpath off Croft Road. The building is constructed of red brick with a tiled roof, featuring one gabled end and the other half-hipped. It is two storeys high with an attic. The cottage is one window wide. The first floor has a wide sash window with glazing bars. The ground floor features a large three-light casement window with glazing bars, set within a segmental brick arch, and a doorway with a moulded wood architrave, a simple flat hood, and a fielded-panel door. There is one old hipped-roof dormer with casements having glazing bars.
