Description

Old Forge is a cottage dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a hipped pantile roof with three raking dormers that have 20th-century casements, along with a single ridge stack. The building is a single storey with an attic and has a five-bay front with six buttresses. There is a lobby entrance, with a doorway on the right that has a plank door flanked by single sliding sash windows. To the left, there is another doorway with a plank door and a single sliding sash window beyond. All the openings have segmental heads.
