The cottage has a single ridge stack and a lobby entrance. The west front has four bays, with a doorway to the left that includes a plank door and a 20th-century gabled hood. This doorway is flanked by sliding sash windows, with an additional sliding sash window to the right. All the windows have wooden lintels.
