Description
The icehouse at Hainton Hall is an early 19th-century structure made of red brick with limestone ashlar dressings. It features a brick entrance on the east side, which has a central bay that slightly projects and includes a flat, ashlar-dressed head. The central doorway is topped with an ashlar lintel and has a slatted door. Inside, there is a corridor leading to an inner plank door. The walls are ashlar dressed on both sides, rising from low single flanking brick pilasters that have ashlar caps, leading up to the taller central bay. At the rear, there is a large grass-covered mound.
