Description

Sinnock Platt is a 18th-century building located in Sinnock Square. The structure features a painted brick ground floor with weatherboarding above and a tiled mansard roof that has a moulded eaves cornice. To the right, No 2 is positioned at right angles, with a painted brick facade and a tile roof, also featuring a weatherboarded gable. The building stands two storeys high with an attic and is two windows wide. Most windows are 2-light casements with glazing bars, while the ground floor of No 2 has a 3-light casement. The ground floor of No 1 and the attic of No 2 have sashes with glazing bars, and No 1 includes a hipped dormer in the mansard. There are two doorways: No 1 has a new oak door, and No 2 features a plain boarded door with a cambered brick arch. Nos 1 to 4 (consecutive) and No 6 form a group.
